About the Author

Grayson Evans has been actively involved in home automation and communication network development and training for the past two decades. He is the founder of The Training Department, a company specializing in CEBus and residential technology training. For the past twelve years, he has also been an engineering consultant to the EIA for the development for the CEBus Standard (EIA-600), the AVBus Standard (EIA-140), and related network standards. He was a founding board member of the CEBus Industry Council and provides engineering consulting to the Home Plug & Play Specification of the CIC. He holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science, and a Bachelors Degree in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
