Writing books, short stories and articles on Dream, Life, Wellness and Organizational coaching is a passion of mine. And yes, much of my work is fiction with the theory and wisdom gained from over 35 years of experience embedded within. The reason for the Guru handle is that I’ve made the dreams of many people and organizations come to life over the years. Being blind, many people I worked with claimed; “The Guru sees things us sighted people can’t see!” In addition, I enjoy writing comedy and children’s books, hoping the reader attains a different perspective and deeper chuckles from a sightless writer that sparks all of the five senses. I give thanks for my wonderful wife and fantastic adult children. They’ve inspired and supported me; especially, on my blindness journey. I enjoy writing, listening to books, playing chess, karate and every form of comedy I can listen to. I’ve embedded many of my tried and true coaching models in my various works. For example, my Dream Coaching model which is highlighted in “Guru on the Beach: and I personally utilized to: -Provide one-on-one dream, career and life-altering coaching/mentoring to hundreds of people -Lead thousands of people within over 100 organizations through major change and transformation -Independently publish over a dozen written works -Overcome the onset of total blindness -Attain a black belt, four world titles and over 130 top three results in a wide range of karate tournaments -Win 25 - top three results in international chess tournaments based out of the United States, Britain and France
