Overview

This fictional book records an inspiring encounter with a commonly known but unpopular immortal called Failures (aka Dr. F). Yes, you read that right! Everyone knows Failures because we all lose count how many times we've engaged Dr. F. Dr. F shares, "For centuries upon centuries, I have guided young and old mortal human beings using challenges. I'm on a special 21st century mission by the Creator called the Challenge Factor. This mission helps mortals figure out how to achieve perfect success imperfectly. Perfect success means mortals overcome many challenges from their first to last breath. Undeniably, baby mortals miraculously overcome learning to eat, talk, walk, run, and more. Mortal imperfect achievement means they are like a two-sided coin with a head and tail, positive and negative, strong and weak, fearless and fearful, and so on. To deal with this Imperfect Condition, I will share with mortals how to focus on learning replacing their fears of me. Mortal brain activity confirms that focusing blocks out distractions naturally. As mortals learn from me about both their "sides" consistently, they respond perfectly to present and past challenges. The ultimate mortal mission, if they choose to accept it, will be to display similar miraculous overcoming power like baby mortals their first two years of life. Hopefully, my words inspire mortals to harness the perpetual happiness with learning progress before, during, and after overcoming challenges. I hope mortals grab hold of their lifelong overcoming destiny too."

About the Author

Avery Austin writes books now. Avery is a first-generation college graduate with BS/MS degrees in Physics, a son of proud West Indian immigrants, and father of three adult children. His diverse working experience include technical analyst, document reviewer, Physics instructor, academic coach, and trainer. He attributes his attention to details, problem-solving resilience, mastery of basic skills to his Physics education background. He proudly attributes his work ethic to what he saw his mother and father do by example. His attention to details, resilience, and basics mastery he attributes to what he learned while earning his Physics education. Near the end of Avery's undergraduate studies, his mentor suggested he start writing a personal journal to overcome his fear of writing. Overcame his writing fear he did and more. Fast forward twenty-five years, his journal writing grew into a personal development passion that transformed his view, communication, thought processes, and awareness of others. He credits journal writing for writing creativity, thinking clarity, decisive reasoning, emotionally intelligent growth, resolving conflicts, setting clearer goals, self-leadership, a positively balanced perspective, inner peace, and more. One day after reading part of a bible proverb, "…wisdom is in the streets crying out…" He pondered to himself, what wisdom is right in front of him or out in the open that he doesn't see? This wisdom proverb inspired Avery to share life lessons learned he discovered from different challenges he overcame over the years. Avery masterfully distills common life coaching lessons learned through amazingly practical approaches and strategies. A life coaching thought leader in his own right!
