Overview

Based on true events, Circles in the Woods is the story of a father's devotion to his children. John's family settled in a small west Texas town hoping to find friends and a place to call home, however it became a nightmare. They would experience what the illegal drug culture leaves behind in a small town. John would lose his eldest daughter and the family would be thrown into generations of hurt and pain. It would take 20 years and the grit and determination of his Jim's grandson to dig and discover the truth behind her death.

About the Author

S. Upshaw was born in a small west town. After watching the struggle of his family after his mother's death he vowed he would make good of his life. He went on to earn a BA in ministry and a Master's in Business. While in college he began a 20-year project that would uncover the mystery behind his mom's death. This is that story and how it still inspires him to live life to the fullest every day.
