About the Author

Hoss LeFevere has lived in remote Alaska with his wife for nearly twenty years. Their three sons grew up in a scenic fishing village on the shore of Bristol Bay. His experiences there form and inform his stories of commonplace events with unexpected outcomes. A Midwesterner by birth, Hoss appreciates the dramatic differences setting can make in a story as well as in how we deal with the world around us. Now a resident of the Alaskan Arctic, he uses the long, cold winters to write about and reflect upon his years in Alaska. He is grateful for the many fascinating people and interesting events that have colored the mosaic that is his adventurous life.
