About the Author

Mitch Persons is an actor, television writer, filmmaker, and film journalist. He has written over 300 articles, profiles, reviews, and behind-the-scenes stories for such film magazines as "Cinefantastique," "Sirens of Cinema," "Anime Fantastique," and the prestigious "Stumped?" In 1992 he was a major contributor to "The Academic Press Dictionary of Science and Technology." Mitch is the author of two Young Adult novels, "In the Hall of the Mountain King," and "In Hugo's Path." His short film, "Dirty Old Town" -- inspired by the folksong by The Pogues -- was shown at the 2008 New York International Independent Film and Video Festival. He resides in Las Vegas, Nevada.
