This requires expensive equipment, and sometimes an entire IT department involved in its support and configuration. An effective solution can be cloud services that quickly provide access to the necessary resources, make it easy to exchange data and store them outside of local computers, and significantly reduce the cost of technical equipment for laboratories and research centers. Cloud technologies are already widely used today in mathematics, physics, archeology, atmospheric and climate research, medicine, space research, energy and other fields. They expand the possibilities of scientific research at the expense of their own capacities, promote the development of science in disadvantaged countries and regions, help develop international scientific cooperation, provide a high level of cybersecurity, and optimize costs and environmental impact. Cloud services are also being adopted by small startups and large businesses with a large number of employees, customers and suppliers, as they provide constant synchronization and mobility.
