Overview

"When the Clock Strikes" is a flash fiction about two couples, the emotional, Abby, and the cold, Harry, having a tense conversation about potential separation one late night in a motel room. Abby must convince her husband to give her a second chance before the clock strikes twelve. "The Sirens to Luxury" is flash fiction based on a real-life event of an art heist that occurred in 1990. George and Larry must escape the art museum before the police arrive at their crime scene. Nicole Carpio is a student at Full Sail University, who is working up her way to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. She aims to become a Screenwriter for TV shows and web series that specializes in genres, such as fantasy, action, adventure, and drama. Throughout her studies, she wrote many different flash fiction to hone her skills. Her first published flash fiction, WHEN THE CLOCK STRIKES, was featured for the Adelaide Literacy Magazine Volume 45 on March 1st, 2021. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, but moved down to Orlando, Florida, to study Creative Writing. Although some say she is a little chaotic with her writing, she has a passion for storytelling, especially if it involves internal dilemmas. She is also a trained voice actress.
