Come Fly With Us
Meet the girls who fly the friendly skies:

Ali: "All men seem to think that if they've had sex with a girl once they can have her any time they want. They're wrong."
Beri: "I know a librarian who makes me feel positively sheltered and stews who've spent years in the air without losing their virginity."
Connie: "We see men at their worst, grabby and aggressive. I've never had sex with a man."
Donna: "If you're looking to get married, there's no better way--though I don't know why men want to marry stewardesses."
Elaine: "I hate to open my eyes in the morning. First I have to guess whether I'm alone or not."
Felicia: "For a long time sex meant nothing to me. Then I met a man and I was like 'My God, how did I live this long and miss out on all of this?'"

When John Warren Wells published Sex & the Stewardess, copies flew off newsstand shelves. Displayed in flight, it was a natural icebreaker, and the author received fan mail from stews and passengers alike. Sales sent the book into a second and third printing, and the publisher begged for a sequel.

At which point JWW began racking up those frequent flyer miles...

About the Author

About The Author
Lawrence Block has been writing award-winning mystery and suspense fiction for half a century. As John Warren Wells, he wrote eighteen books during the 1970s consisting of case studies of human sexual behavior. His most recent novels are HIT ME, featuring Keller, and A DROP OF THE HARD STUFF, featuring Matthew Scudder, who will be played by Liam Neeson in the forthcoming film, A WALK AMONG THE TOMBSTONES. Several of his books have been filmed, although not terribly well. He's well known for his books for writers, including the classic TELLING LIES FOR FUN & PROFIT, and THE LIAR'S BIBLE. In addition to prose works, he has written episodic television (TILT!) and the Wong Kar-wai film, MY BLUEBERRY NIGHTS. He is a modest and humble fellow, although you would never guess as much from this biographical note.
