If there ever was a time when we need to know Jesus, it is today. We need to know more than His name. Knowing a person�s name does not mean that you really know them. We need to know who Jesus is. We need to know Him personally and not just historically.
One way we can get to know Him is through His Word. We can get to know Jesus through the very words He spoke about Himself. We can also get to know Jesus by Him simply revealing himself to us by His Spirit. Of course, the Holy Spirit often reveals Jesus by opening our eyes to what is said in the Bible, the book we regard as the Word of God.
Through this 13-week study that will guide you into an in-depth study of who Jesus is. You will learn from the Gospel of John and the book of Revelation that Jesus is, �The Great I Am.� As you go through these lessons, spend time meditating on the very words Jesus used to describe Himself. The more you think about who He is, the more you will thank Him. You will grow in your appreciation of what He means to you. You will also come into a deeper understanding of who you are in relation to Jesus, the Lover of your soul.
