The hand modeling division is a thriving business in the world of body parts modeling. Top hand models report earnings from several hundred dollars to several thousand dollars a day. Just as the hand modeling agencies value the advertising power of great looking hands; God values the amazing work of our hands too. Many of our natural abilities and spiritual gifts operate through the work of our hands. There are many Scriptures in the Bible that refer to different types of hands. Here are a few types: clean hands, holy hands, innocent hands, and wicked hands. There are several Scriptures in the Bible that report various events when believers would lay their hands on the sick, and they would recover. We have certainly read several stories when Jesus laid His hands on the sick and healed them. Our lesson today is about hands that volunteered to work on a team to save their nation from attack. The 300 men in Gideon's army are our unsung heroes for this week. Once again we don't know their names. However, we do know their heroic deeds. They worked together as a unified body of believers to accomplish God's will for their lives.
