Concilii Actiones IV-V
The second volume of the three-volume edition (the first volume was published in 2008) continues the edition of the proceedings of the Seventh Ecumenical Council of 787 (Nicaenum II) which dealt with the controversy surrounding the veneration of images (Iconoclastic Controversy). In addition to an introduction which describes the transmission of the proceedings, it contains the Greek text of the 3rd and 4th sessions of the council, confronting these with the Latin translation of Anastasius Bibliothecarius in 873. The detailed critical apparatus also references source texts and parallel texts.
