About the Author

Frances Tophill is a UK-based horticulturalist, television presenter, and author of First-time Gardener. She is a presenter on the long-running BBC Television program Gardeners' World, as well as on ITV's top-rated show Love Your Garden, available for streaming on Netflix. Frances first started gardening at the age of 7 and trained at the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh.
