About the Author

The inspiration for writing poetry had its genesis in a dream. Dr. Patterson who is married to his beloved, Janie, has three grown sons and four grandchildren. He still works at 75 years of age teaching interns and residents. Family, church, reading, writing, and composing for the piano are activities he enjoys.
