About the Author

Cowgirl Annie is the pen name chosen by Angela Lytle. She grew up on a ranch in South Dakota and continues to live on a ranch with her husband and sons. The family raises Registered Red Angus cattle and hay. Growing up, 4-H and FFA were a big part of Angela's life. She loved showing livestock and rodeoing. In, 1987, Angela fulfilled a lifetime goal of being crowned Miss Rodeo South Dakota. After raising her kids, Angela decided to write stories for children about growing up on a ranch. Besides, writing Angela enjoys riding horses, quilting, cooking, reading, and gardening.
Daboin Edwin is a very talented illustrator from Venezuela.
