Translator into Italian: Born in Melbourne, Australia to Italian parents, Sandro Camillo grew up in the heart of a fast developing city, but at the age of 14 his entire family returned to Italy in the countryside of the Prosecco district, North Italy. After University in Padua, where Sandro studied Civil Engineering, he joined the Province Adminstration of Treviso as Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department. He later moved on to work in the Middle East for 9 years. He was married, has three children and now lives with his partner in Sydney Australia. In his spare time he likes to write short stories both in Italian and English.

Crocodile Beach: English-Italian Bilingual Reader is Volume 8 of the World English Bilingual Readers Series. This series consists of stories from around the world which are written bilingually with carefully controlled vocabulary and grammar making them suitable for learners of both English and other languages. Peter & Susan Hassall are authors of a number of books written for and by students of World Englishes including their well-known ESSC series output following implementation of the Extremely Short Story Competition [ESSC] held in the UAE, Japan and Lithuania. Having worked in Higher Education in the Middle East, South-East Asia and the Pacific Rim, Peter & Susan Hassall have been presented three English Speaking Union awards at Buckingham Palace by HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, President of the ESU.
