Features: This book reviews the epidemiology, biochemical basis, diagnosis, and therapy of gout, pseudogout, and apatite-associated syndromes. It presents an excellent review of basic knowledge. It also provides a strong discussion of classic, as well as atypical, presentations of disease. The figures and tables are easy to read. Some x-rays could be labeled better. Color plates are of good quality, but they are few in number.
