Leona Sevick's poems appear in Barrow Street, Tar River Poetry, The Florida Review, and other journals She is the winner of the 2012 Split This Rock Poetry Contest, judged by Naomi Shihab Nye, and has written extensively on the work of the American writer Willa Cather Sevick is associate provost and associate professor of English at Mount St Mary's University in Emmitsburg, Maryland This is her first chapbook.
