Former comic book author Tom Sniegoski continues the adventures of fallen-angel-turned-private-detective Remy Chandler, metaphysical detective. Actor Luke Daniels enlivens the peculiar story with his expert performance. He particularly excels in his portrayal of Chandler's dog, Marlowe, who can communicate with his angelic master. Their conversations are priceless, and Daniels makes the dog's voice totally believable. Daniels adopts a South Boston accent that works well as Chandler fights to find stolen mystical weapons powerful enough to destroy all of creation. There's also a wonderful backstory about the angels, God, and Lucifer that will make listeners want to track down the rest of the series. M.S.
