First, he finds out Katie is expecting their first child. Second, Danny is diagnosed with a brain tumor, an ailment he has fought in the past, and thought he had conquered. The plot twists and turns during that autumn, mixing in many flashbacks to past times in Danny's life, some hilarious and others poignant.
