Ryan ("Redwood Pack" series) introduces the Ravenwood Coven in this paranormal romance packed with action, joy, and grief. Widow Sage Reed is planning to move to Ravenwood to live near her beloved aunt, but soon runs into several obstacles. First there is a sudden storm; then Sage runs off the road while trying to avoid a wolf; then she encounters a man lying in the mud under a fallen tree. Afraid that the man will drown in the rising water under the tree, Sage goes to move him and zaps him with her touch. She's not sure what happened, but it wakes him up. Sage experiences a sudden pain and notices that her tattoos are moving. Rome Baker awakens to see a pretty woman staring at her hands and her tattoos. Then his brother walks up behind her in bear form, and she passes out. Rome has a bad feeling the new witch in town doesn't know she's a witch, let alone a prophesied witch, or that shifters exist.
