Overview

a short history of the brutal beating our democratic process has taken in the 21st century, with special focus on the theft of two out of three past elections, the rise of the corporate state and the emergence of money as the ultimate power player. Could this election cycle make it three out of four for the Republicans, and if so can we do something about it? Yes and yes. This book describes what measures were taken to make “winning” possible in 2000 and again in 2004, and the fact (going largely unnoticed) that the same maneuvers have already been set in motion for this round is already cause for alarm. Whether we forestall the “inevitable” depends on us, and the best place to start is by reading this book. Forewarned is forearmed.
