Each volume of A Journal for the Hebrew Scriptures presents the Hebrew text of a section of the Old Testament according to the Leningrad Codex (consonants and vocalization but no accents or verse and chapter markers) with room for note-taking and marking up the passage. The goal of each volume is to make reading Hebrew an enjoyable experience and to facilitate engagement with the Biblical text in the original languages.

About the Author

James Rutherford graduated from Pacific Life Bible College with a Bachelor of Pastoral Leadership and from Regent College with a Master of Arts in Theological Studies, majoring in Hebrew, and a Master of Theology, majoring in Old Testament. Currently, he is a PhD student at Moore Theological College in Sydney, Australia. James manages Teleioteti.ca. He is happily married to Nicole and the father of Aliyah and Asher (who has gone to be with his Lord). When not writing or studying, he is the parish administrator for St Matt's Ashbury, enjoys cooking, and enjoys exploring the East Coast of Australia with his family.
