Overview

How would it be, if everything you thought you knew about your world was a lie? - and that every myth, legend and conspiracy theory was, in fact, the truth? Well, it would certainly rattle your marbles, thats for sure. Especially Dick Sirius' and thats because hes already missing a few. He has no recollection of his life before the age of eighteen. He just woke up one day in a hostel in Rickmansworth with nothing but his clothes, a cheque for five thousand pounds and a tube of acne cream. Welcome to the magical, fantastic and downright dangerous world of Dick Sirius. A different type of hero for a very different world. Hes just a man but a man who doesnt know who he is, why hes here or whats going on; and hell be damned if hes not going to find out even if it kills him. It probably will.

About the Author

J. D. Winthrop leads a double life. This incarnation as a novelist is a recent one. He is also known as a successful West End actor, (the identity of whom is the country's least successfully guarded secret) with thirty years of appearances on stage and screen behind him. This dual personality can often be found hunched over a laptop in a theatre dressing-room, immersed in the outlandish world he creates.

Currently working on the second book in the DICK SIRIUS series, he cools the heat generated by his creative brain, with the licks of his Cairn Terrier and a strange machine, originally designed to milk mice.

Only two things are known about him for certain: he is married to the world's most tolerant woman, and has an unnatural and dangerous predilection for cheese
