English summary: The Q source, the written source material that forms part of the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, provides a twofold link. On the one hand the origins of the text can be placed somewhere between early Judaism and the beginnings of the Jesus movement, therefore making it a document that addresses the eschatological hopes for redemption of Jewish disciples of Jesus rather than "Christian" expectations. On the other hand, the text acts as a bridge between the historical Jesus and later Christianity, while offering insights into the early Jesus movement by providing glimpses of archaic forms of Christology and ecclesiology. In addition to issues surrounding the reconstruction of only partly complete text, this volume looks particularly at the emergence of the context and the theology of the Q source thus providing a glimpse back to the time when the followers of Jesus were still Jews.
