Overview

Are you thinking about investing in real estate? Or are you an owner who wants to learn how to maximize your profits? Whether you're planning to invest or already an investor, this book is for you! DIVE IN!

Never before has there been a primer on real estate investment written by someone who has been in the thick of it for over 30 years, someone who has never experienced a loss in that time, and now has chosen to share all that he has learned and mastered. Fred Gelfand is the real thing -an active and successful single proprietor real estate investor. He learned the hard way and wants you to avoid the many obstacles and hardships he managed to endure if not overcome. Unlike many authors on this subject, this author is currently investing and is not an academic, journalist, or other so-called expert who has never had their own "skin in the game." Whether you're a beginning or intermediate real estate investor, this incredibly thorough book will prepare you for your exciting next investment.

About the Author

Fred Gelfand

A successful real estate investor, owner and expert for over 30 years, Fred Gelfand has also been fortunate to have been a musician, composer, teacher and survivor. He has purchased, operated, managed and flipped over 50 properties—and has never experienced a loss! In fact, most of the properties his portfolio have maintained an amazing 50-300% gain!
A multi-talented force of nature, Fred Gelfand is the author of the recent bestseller, GOLF LIFE: Confessions of an Average Golfer. He has been writing, composing and performing music since he was 15. He was a keyboard player and rhythm guitarist for the well-known New York rock group, Nobody’s Children. At the time, he recorded a song that hit the national charts called “It’s Getting Better.” For the next several years, Fred performed in small hotels and clubs. He sang and played all the instruments while recording three children’s CDs.
Fred was also a popular elementary school teacher for over thirty years. In 1993, when the World Trade Center was first attacked, Fred was on a class trip with his students. When the bomb exploded, he was in an overcrowded elevator on the 38th floor with four classes and several tourists. He heroically managed to calm everyone down during the seven-hour ordeal, which was documented in the media. Fred Gelfand lives on Long Island, New York with his beautiful wife Sandy.
