About the Author

She liked the fun, surreal, creative pictures in kids' books. She wanted to make children's books but needed to learn how to create plots or stories. After working with children and spending so much time with them as a preschool teacher, Iqraa discovered she could make any story. She is full of ideas. Her story ideas are a combination of her imagination and her kids. She makes up some stories, while some are her classroom moments with the kids. Iqraa was able to make the "Choose One Hand" book because Ms. Iqraa uses this "trick" (that's how the kids see it): hiding something in one hand, and the kid needs to find if it's in the right hand or left.
