Her background is centered heavily in Psychology while focusing on children and adolescent development. Due to having a child with Down syndrome, she started focusing on the need for books that will be centered towards the acceptance of all children with disabilities. This is the first book in a series that will be centered on children with Down syndrome and their families, friends, and support systems.
