Overview

The second album by Chris Bender includes more hip-hop flavored tunes, plus some above-average vocals and high caliber production. Bender's problem isn't so much performance as content; none of the cuts on this album are standouts, although all are well done. The lack of a strong lead item prohibited it from getting enough airplay in '91 to break Bender out of the pack. ~ Ron Wynn
