CHAPTER 1
My name is Drew and my favourite colour in the whole wide world is the colour blue. The Colour blue is my favourite colour because of all the neat things it can do. I would like to share all of the things I have seen so far that reflect the colour blue. The colour blue is all around us when we look for it and unique in all the things it can do. Now I am going to share a poem with you that I wrote about the colour blue and maybe just maybe it will become your favourite colour too!
The colour blue is the colour of the ocean and the waves of the ocean shine bright blue.
The colour blue is gorgeous and unique like a blue jay bird that flies across the sky where we can barely see.
The colour blue reminds me of the great big sky where clouds lay so gorgeously for every child to dream that one day they may fly.
The colour blue is beautiful, warm and bright like the very first day of the summer sun.
The colour blue gives a message to be patient, to be calm kind of like when mom sings you a beautiful song.
