Instead of moping about like other overlords, he decided to take an interest in the one known as Tern, encouraging and developing him from afar. Not only did he calculate he would have an advantage in knowing Tern's abilities, but it allowed for a confrontation worthy of a bardic saga. Sometimes though, even the best plans have unforeseen circumstances.
