Christopher Duquette's latest release is an expose on life and how trying to get it right sometimes results in things going wrong while following the direction of people who are supposed to be in the know and intending to do no harm. When the results of good choices go wrong - how you resolve it all and move into the knowing the good while reinventing life to an enlightened state is where the compass leads.
This first-person account shares Mr. Duquette's life experience from youth to adulthood, where he learned who he is while defining what it means to be your own person. The many fast-moving trains in his journey to enlightenment are shared in this title. In his course of discovery, he encounters excess in all every form at the highest echelons of NYC nightlife, where bridling one's passions and not giving in to your wildest imaginings is not necessarily prescribed. Instead, events delivered themselves to Mr. Duquette's doorstep and he shares the results of the mind-blowing adventures bestowed on him that resulted in an unsuccessful attempt to take his own life where Christopher was branded a ward of the state.
He eventually regained his independence, dignity, and self-worth when he learned a loyal friend to himself is the best medicine.

About the Author
I am beginning to field my title once more in NYC after a sabbatical in Rural New York to re-calibrate from over technologicalization of my life; however, all things come full circle, and I missed the Big Apple. Currently, I hail in Jamaica Queens NYC and I am busily finding my path to the hidden niches of books, people, and readings . . . look for me throughout our great city and beyond in the 2017 - 2018 book-signing circuit.
