"Blue Underground has turned out a solid disc of a Euro-cult favorite with this edition of Night Train Murders. As usual, they have produced a strong transfer that offers a crisp anamorphic widescreen image with rich color. The audio portion of the disc forgoes its original Italian-language soundtrack for a mono English dub; it would have been nice to have the choice of an Italian track with subtitles, but the English track is a strong, smooth-sounding affair. In terms of extras, this disc offers a little less than the usual Blue Underground outing. Thankfully, the major extra here is a good one: a 15-minute interview with director Aldo Lado that offers plenty of information on the film's inspirations, production, and public/critical reception in one compact space. The package is rounded out by American and European theatrical trailers, some radio spots, and a comprehensive stills gallery. In short, this is a tidy, well-assembled package for fans of European exploitation fare and well worth a look to cult movie enthusiasts with a yen for vintage sleaze."
