This documentary look at the turmoil of the 1960s and '70s as seen through the eyes of six men who grew up in the same Brooklyn neighborhood arrives on DVD in a well-rounded release. The Boys of 2nd Street Park has been transferred to disc in the full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1. The original English-language soundtrack has been mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo, and a dubbed Spanish version appears in Dolby Digital Mono. No subtitles have been included. Among the bonus features are five deleted sequences, interviews with filmmakers Dan Klores and Ron Berger, footage from the film's post-premiere party, a short documentary on the generation of the late '60s, and trailers for other titles available from Showtime.
