Overview

Directed by Mark Goodman, this historical drama recalls the early days of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints or LDS, but focusing on three key people: the men dubbed as the Three Witnesses. Set in 1830, the story follows the lives of Oliver Cowdery (Caleb J. Spivak), David Whitmer (Michael Zuccola), and Martin Harris (Lincoln Hoppe), who claim that an angel manifested in front of them and showed them the golden plates with ancient scripture. These plates are said to have been the ones translated by Joseph Smith, which became the Book of Mormon.
