As filmed over a period of five days, the sessions at hand witness the production of McLaughlin's 2008 solo recording Floating Point. The program also features interviews with McLaughlin's accompanists, including Shankhar Mahadevan, who speak candidly about the manner in which they approach a McLaughlin composition.
