About the Author

I spent my childhood summers at our family cottage on Coldwater Lake. A friend of my uncles and a member of the local Chippewa tribe rented the cottage next door for several summers. Indian Dave would thrill my cousins and me with legends and dances of his people. He taught us the importance and spirituality regarding the balance of nature. My favorite stories of people who could shift from human to animal at will influenced me to write my own versions.
After writing Crow Magic, an eagle visited me.
The large bird sat on my porch railing studying me with golden eyes. Through a mist the creature shifted into an incredibly sexy man. His eyes were the same gold as the eagles. He stood tall with a barrel chest. His appearance dominated my porch but he moved in a graceful manner. He ran his hands through the silky layers of short-cropped black hair tipped with grey and white.
Dyami Shafer is a Chippewa and works as a Conservation Officer for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. He is looking for a good woman to dance with him and love him for what he is.
1Night Stand might be the answer, but he will have to take a few steps into his past to dance into the future.
Please enjoy Dyami's story in Eagle Dance.
