About the Author

Dr. M. Sakku Bhavya, is presently working as an Associate Professor and IGNOU, Co-ordinator for B.Ed. Programme at Department of Education, Osmania University, Institute of Advanced Study in Education, Hyderabad. She is also working as the Special Officer of Model High School, which is attached to Osmania University. She obtained her M.A. (Pol. Sci.) and M.Ed. and Ph.D. Degrees from Osmania University. She joined as Assistant Professor in Deptt. of Education in the year 1991. Earlier to this she worked as a Lecturer in Composite College at Singareni Collieries Women’s College, Kothagudem, Khammam District for about seven years. She worked on deputation as Course Co-ordinator for B.Sc. Education Department from 1996 to 1999. This widened her knowledge about practical side of Education. The author has been actively angaged in teaching, research and guidance. She got several papers published to her credit. Her area of research includes Early Childhood Education, besides she also took keen interest in Educational Technology and Communicative English and Personality Development.
