About the Author

John R. Bonner is a non-denominational Christian. Born in 1947, he grew up on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio. John was the fifth of twelve children and attended Catholic grade school. By the age of 12, God was deeply imbedded in the heart but not yet in the actions of the young man. At the age of 15, he heard the voice of God calling, but the call fell on deaf ears and the lust of the flesh took over. At the age of 27, the call came again. Deeply entrenched in sin, the call went unanswered. Finally, at the age of 30, God called once more, this time with a rod in His hand. Then came repentance, acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and a journey of truth-seeking.
