At 62, Kim has had several demanding career paths, including military service, fourteen years working "on air" in radio, and fifteen years as a financial planner.

Some of his passions include taking the seeds of ideas and making them a reality, coaching others in core disciplines of personal improvement, and preserving heritage, history, and the integrity of the environment and rural communities.
