As a young woman who placed her daughter for adoption because of an unexpected teen pregnancy, I was blown away by the love and tenderness that this author showed when he discussed how his biological mother placed him for adoption when she was a teenager. So many people who are adopted struggle to cope and think they were abandoned by their birth parent. But this author is different. He shines a positive light on the process of adoption from the perspective of an adoptee! Very inspiring book.
