About the Author

Myles Downey is a thought-leader and entrepreneur in the world of performance, learning and coaching. Myles is recognised as one of the leading business performance coaches in Europe with extensive experience spanning over twenty-five years.
As an author he has written 'Effective Coaching' (199 and 2013), 'Effective Modern Coaching' (2014) and Enabling Genius (2016). He is currently writing 'The Sessions' a companion book to Enabling Genius that takes the form of 8 conversations that take place in a variety of Dublin's Victorian pubs in the 1980's

He was the Founder of The School of Coaching in the U.K., established in 1996 and the first of it’s kind, and was also part of the team that established The Alexander Corporation in 1987, which was acknowledged by The Economist Intelligence Unit as “the leading provider of Executive Coaching in Europe” in 1993 and in 1995.
He is the creator of the Enable, the world’s first automated coaching system (there is no coach), which is designed to bring high quality coaching to the many, affordably. The system has been very well received and is currently being piloted in a number of well-known, global organisations.
Myles lives in London and works wherever the most interesting projects take him. He was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1959.
