About the Author

Eduardo Lince Fábrega was born in Panama City, Panama. He studied Law and Political Science in the University of Panama. During his career he has actively collaborated with the Panamanian Human Rights Committee and has worked with the Pro Democracy Center where he has taken part in educational workshops directed to the youth and in the publication of the monthly supplement Democratic Conscience. He has also worked in the Office of Institutional Development of ANCON, the National Association for Nature Conservancy. Eduardo has written various articles and stories. This novel forms part of the fantasy series about the Valley of Anton.

B ecause of his job, Valentín Calderon has travelled to many parts of the world, and this is reflected in his creative works. During his childhood, he competed in many contests that emphasized his talent, and as an adult he has worked as a promotional designer for several marketing companies. For four years he was the characteristic artist in the Party around the World (Fiesta Alrededor del Mundo) event. He also worked as a designer for the Miss Panama 1992 contest. His real-world job is with COPA Airlines.
