About the Author

Sherry has been writing for thirty, but this is her first published children's book. Ellie was created as a gift for her niece Ellie, and after coming up with many ideas, the words began to flow.
Sherry resides on a small farm in the Appalachian mountains with her husband. All of her stories come from happenings with her grandkids, or out of stories from told to her by her parents and grandparents.
She graduated with a major in child and family psychology.
She is now happily retired, and enjoying her life of writing and telling stories.
