Overview

The six-song debut from this California album is a wild ride through classic psychedelia and contemporary prog-rock, filtered through chaotic elements of punk and hardcore that have come in between. But what's unique about songs like "Owl" and "A Thousand Eyes" is that they pack so many ideas into relatively short, three-to-four-minute songs, harnessing the concise energy of the alt-rock era while wrapping it in dense layers of warbled vocals, guitar feedback, dense organs, and feverish bridges. If EP is their ostensible DIY beginning, it will be worth waiting to hear their evolution on an actual full-length.
