There is a time to be silent and a time to speak. This story speaks for those who have known love and damnation. It speaks for the boy who handed me a suicide note entitled, Why, the day prior to his attempt hanging. It speaks for anyone who has asked the question why and received no answer. It speaks for the rational, the irrational, the sane, the insane, the young and the old who have found the meaning of life to be deeper than a choice between good and evil. It is futile to try to bury this story or to repress the events that happened. A thought, a trigger to the past or a nightmare will serve as a reminder that you cannot deny or change the past, but can only hope to redeem it.
This story addresses our own worst enemy – ourselves. All one needs to do is open the wrong door to realize that yesterday's fears are today's realities. Such realities can and often cause chaos. One can take many paths during stressful times, one of which can be the long, dark passageway to the depths of Hell known as Erebus, who is the child of Chaos.
