In a prologue, two love stories develop. One between a human man (a Vietnam War veteran) and a Thai elf doctor. The other between a superhero with butterfly wings and a woman with terrible insights into the superhero's psyche. The love story between the elf and the human results in Eve the First Lady of Sin.
