In it I share my personal testimony of the storms and struggles that I have been facing throughout my life and how the Holy Spirit has been guiding and leading me along my journey even in my darkest hour. In this book, I share my personal struggle with Bipolar Disorder, Depression, the loss of a dear friend to Cancer, the loss of a child to abortion, and the trauma that my family suffered, but most importantly, I write about my walk with God and how he has restored my life because he is a God of Restoration and how the Holy Spirit continues to work through me. I write about the importance of Spiritual Guidance and Direction in the life of a Christian and the Blessings that come along with total obedience to God. I truly hope that you will find some source of inspiration and the belief that if we put God first in our lives, anything is possible. My name is Marco Benavides and I have been married to my lovely wife Maria Benavides going on Twenty Five not so wonderful years at times (Haha) but we are still learning every day, not only from God but from each other as well. Marriage is not an easy thing to navigate but what I have found is that if you base the foundation of your marriage in LOVE, your relationship with your wife and your family will be blessed. I have also been blessed with the task of raising four wonderful children who are truly a gift from God. Alexander is my oldest, then there is Andrew, Amber my Princes and finally my youngest Aidan. I give thanks to God everyday for all that he does in my life. I was inspired to write this book because I wanted to have something to remind me of my walk with God.
