Overview

This is a collection of light-hearted (fictional) stories written by philosopher Kurt Smith. Although short and weird, they are nevertheless geared to offer a serious look at the effects of capitalism on American life in the 20th century. As Mike Wallace discovers in his interview with Ayn Rand (in Purgatory), capitalism looks in the end to be a rather ugly form of feudalism. Smith, as the title suggests, imagines this collection of odd stories to be of some use to future people in helping them come to a better understanding of life in America during this rather violent and tumultuos century.
