About the Author

Nancy was born in a little town in Central Texas, called Hico. She was one of five children and the only girl. In 1968, she married her soulmate, Frank, in Van Vleck, Texas. Nancy is a Sister, Daughter, Mom, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Frank's Forever Wife. She believes that you can do anything that you set your mind to do at any age. Pearls and lace are her favorite things, but you might see her wearing them with coveralls.
At the age of sixty-five and being a widow for eighteen years, Nancy said a prayer asking for purpose. God answered her prayer through a dream in which Frank asked her to look in a Cedar Chest. She discovered close to one hundred and fifty letters that she did not know still existed. These letters set her on a journey to write a Memoir about their soulmate love and marriage, with commitment, communication, and sacrifice.
Nancy believes that why she is an author is more important than that she is an author.
